Getting started as a volunteer

If you are interested in becoming part of the all-volunteer SonRise team, you will be asked to complete a volunteer application and sign a release form. The volunteer application is used to help provide a safe and secure environment for those who participate in our programs and use our facilities.

After we receive a completed volunteer application, we require each applicant, who is over the age of 18, to undergo a background check, provide a list of references, and interview with SonRise staff.

We contact all qualified applicants with interests and skills which match a volunteer need at SonRise.
